Case study: Liverpool City Region Combined Authority - Households into Work

A Talk by Liam Hailwood (Liverpool City Region Combined Authority)

About this Talk

Households into Work is not just a programme to help people find work, it’s about supporting people to get to a point where they start to think about work as a realistic option. Delivered by the Combined Authority, it was launched in 2018 to support long-term unemployed people who have difficulty finding and sustaining employment due to a range of issues, including financial crises, mental health problems, the risk of eviction or homelessness, domestic abuse, social isolation or chronic health issues.

Over the course of 12 months, participants work on a one-to-one basis with a dedicated employment advocate offering bespoke support not only helping them resolve the issues, but also develop the skills and resilience to help deal with them should they arise again in the future.

Liam Hailwood talks to us about how In-Form has helped them to demonstrate both hard and soft outcomes, how they had a successful rollout and adoption of the system, and the importance of coninuous development in line with projects and organisational objectives.
